I have been trying very hard not to eat added sugar lately. In fact, I’ve been doing pretty well for almost the past year! As much as I’d like to say I’m doing it to lose weight and stay healthy, that’s not really the case…it’s just that sugar affects my body in a very negative way. I do have a sweet tooth, so when I cook or bake I use natural sweeteners like honey, pure maple syrup, and stevia. I will admit I love my Coke Zero and I also enjoy sugar-free chocolates…
Anyway, I wanted to enjoy the Chocolate Pretzel Treats I made for a family gathering last night so I substituted some sugar-free chocolate for the regular chocolate and they turned out DELISH. Only two ingredients are necessary! They may not look like much, but they sure are yummy!
Sugar-Free Chocolate Pretzel Treats
1 pkg small pretzel twists
1 pkg sugar-free chocolates of your choice
Preheat oven to 175 degrees. Arrange pretzels on a baking sheet.
Cut your chocolate into pretzel-size pieces and place on top of the pretzels.
Warm them in the oven for a few minutes until chocolate is shiny and slightly softened.
Flatten with the back of a spoon.
Chill in the fridge for about 10 minutes, and that’s it: easy peasy!
Seriously, these are the BOMB!
